Summer Feast
I can finally come up for air after my granddaughter’s magical wedding.
Last Monday night we hosted Sheva Brachot at our home.
The guidelines I gave myself were:
❤️ Dairy
❤️ Italian (with the exception of just one dip and one dish)
❤️ Summery
❤️ Youthful.
By all accounts, I seem to have accomplished all that and then some.
Fabulous All Homemade Summer Feast
Literally hundreds of you have requested the recipes from this summer feast menu. I will list everything I made, with recipe links, you will be happy!
❤️ Seared Tuna with Kimchi Dip
Loin part of tuna. 2 inch steaks, very well chilled and wiped very dry.
I put nothing on.
Sear in a VERY HOT skillet with a few drops olive oil added, two minutes on each side.
Chill again before slicing against the grain.
Kimchi dip: spicy kimchi (store bought OK) + a little tofu + a little Mayo, blended until smooth

⭐️ Lentil Mushroom Nut Pâté (working on this recipe, will post link when it’s ready. It’s awesome) ⭐️ Marinated Long Stem Artichoke Hearts (magnificent, from Roland Brand) ⭐️ Roquefort Butter (I mix 2 parts unsalaried butter and 1 part blue cheese/roquefort.
