The Pasta Factory Teaneck
Dinner at the Pasta Factory Teaneck on Mother’s Day was a great experience. We had one of the Mother’s Day prix fixe menus, and it was spectacular: Corn Tomatillo soup, baby rack of lamb, and assorted desserts. Every bit as delicious as in our Levana Restaurant days, which is not surprising as they brought in our talented chef with them. Not only was the food great, and the service terrific, but the setting is so hip and cool, I assure you if it was in NYC instead of Teaneck, it would get no end of writeups. Come on guys, let’s put Teaneck on the map, OK? An 8 minute drive from GWB, that’s all it takes. We often find it simpler to drive (free parking!) and back, and cheaper than take a cab to some overpriced (and not nearly as delicious) restaurant midtown! so go for it, drive or shnorr a ride and make it a night out!
See you at the Pasta Factory!
Hi Levana and Maurice,
Thank you for introducing us to THE PASTA FACTORY. the trip from the upper west side to Teaneck N.J. took all of 20 minutes and with ample parking was surely no problem. We were delighted with the charming decor, unpretentious yet tasteful. The food belies the name. Being a true “foodie”, I can compare the cuisine to the very best in N.Y. and yet it was still kosher. I am still thinking about the wonderful tuna tartar, the beef carpaccio and the great halibut we had. I must plan another trip to try the pasta.
