High Protein Smoothies. I used to think that “liquid breakfasts” would be an incomplete and a not quite unsatisfying way to start the day, and would send me scrounging for my next meal again in the next hour,

Boy, was I wrong! Starting out with a high protein keeps you energized and full for a good 3 to 4 hours. Of course we can enjoy eggs, high protein hot cereal, overnight oats, etc and of course these are all excellent choices. But they will not get you to the high protein numbers you need as fast as these high protein smoothies will!

Perfect not just for us grownups but for children too! They are a wonderful way to skip the part where they pick out the stuff that is so hard to like for them. As far as they are concerned,  all objectionable ingredients disappear and get blitzed in the blender. We are left with something cool and colorful that homogenized cool and colorful that reminds them of dessert. Except these smoothies are super nutritious and super nutritious, and they will be begging you for more. Trust me, I know! I go through these fun powerhouse breakfasts with my own grandchildren all the time!
